| Guided Tours Nine Mile Canyon is a virtual outdoor museum of the Freemont Indian Dwellings. There is lots of rock art, also known as petroglyphs and pictographs. The Meads are wonderful guides, having lived in the area their entire lives. In addition to taking you to rare and remote sites never before seen by the average person, Ben has hundreds of stories to tell about the love of the land and his experiences. The Mead families have lived in the canyon for three generations. Some of the rock art can be found a short way off the dirt road. However most of the spectacular places require hiking from various spots off of the road which only a seasoned guide can lead you to. |
| The bunkhouse is the place that you come across when you first reach Nine Mile Ranch. It is the main house and consists of two bedrooms upstairs, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a family room. The downstairs consists of a bathroom, a small kitchen and two bedrooms that sleep between 4-5 people a piece. |
